Plains Daybreak is a piece by Erick Hawkins created in 1979. It is a very interesting visual dance with very abstract costumes. This piece correlates with many of Grahams intents for her pieces because of the American background that is in them. Plains Daybreak is so novelty and interesting. What surprised me was the costumes. They were so flowing and light, which suited for the dance pretty much. The innovation really attracted audiences. The dance looked simple but contains vitality.
